About

I am a Ph.D. Candidate in Public Administration at the University of Illinois Chicago and hold a Ph.D. in Public Policy from CIDE. My research examines the ways local governments govern in metropolitan systems, where authority is divided across multiple jurisdictions but problems are shared.
I focus on intergovernmental collaboration as institutional responses to political fragmentation and use a networks lens to study how governments decide to work together, how the institutional designs of these agreements diffuse across places, and what those choices mean for management, service delivery, and regional outcomes.
